All brand new!

New place. New house. New art. New friends. New country. Everything is new, but still I have something old with my - in my heart and mind. Not really that homesick (yet), eventhough I miss some more than others.

Not really unpacked yet, but can`t wait to get all my stuff out. Really need to be creative soon!

This is a card I made before i left Norway in august.

Yesterday I found a great apartment, and I am moving in on saturday so everything will be in place before I go back to Norway for some more holiday, untill school starts in end of september. The apartment is wonderful, and at first I`ll be sharing with a guy, and in october/november we might find another person til live with us. The best of all is the pink light in my room, and the fact that my dog will be able to stay in this house, so If I like it I can continue living there after christmas also.

For the moment everything in England is pretty "wrong" (thinking on everything from cardriving to wich way you swith the light on and off), but I am pretty sure I`ll be very happy here. The town is nice, and it is very cosy with all the small brickhouses.

I got reminded of the painting I promised to show when it was finished, and luckily I was able to get it done before I left.

Today is my last day living in Norway

for at least three years. Happy, sad, exited and very curious on how my new life is going to be, but I am sure it will be great. And, for this first trip I am only spending one week in England, before I come back to Norway to have some time with my love.

Still don`t have anywhere to live, so I am crossing my fingers that we will be able to arrange something this following week. My sister is coming with me, to help. We are carrying almost 100 kilos of luggage, so I am very happy it`s not just me. By the way, 12 kilos is only paper! But, I can`t go without it.

A little card I made before I packed all my stuff down. Don`t know when I`ll be bloging again, but probably not for to long.

Time flies, and I leave for England in ten days. I am so exited and very stressed out. Have nowhere to live, and it`s very, very, very hard to find a suitable appartment, but I guess it will all fall in place in the end. Cross your fingers for me!

I never spend as much time on any card, as the ones who appears/ends up to be clean and simple. Dont`t know why, maybe it`s just so much harder to create something thats not filled with stuff. I don`t know.

Before I run down to the city

to hear a norwegian band, Madrugada, play I`ll just want to share some parts of my current painting. It`s huge and take alot of time and effort so I don`t have much time for paper and stamps, but that doesen`t really matter. I love what I do!























When I am done I will show you the whole painting in one. :)

I guess

it is about time I start writing in english... After all, its only three (three!!!) weeks untill I am packing all my stuff (oh my!) together and move across the ocean. It is very exiting and a littlebit scary, but I will be fine. I am following my dreams and my heart so I guess it can`t get better.

Time flies, and it is almost six years since the last time I lived, though and spoke in english, so I will probably need some time to get used to the language again, so bare with me if there`s a lot of spellingmisstakes (and such).

Summer is showing at the best this week, and I am off to help my mother pick some strawberries. :)
